COACHING ESSENTIALS
The Coaching Essentials course is designed for managers and professionals who want to apply SCOA’s coaching principles and key instruments to develop others’ business performance.
The course includes classroom training and individual coaching for participants.
TRAINING GOALS
Partecipants will be able to:
- understand and apply SCOA’s coaching principles and key instruments to support the client’s professional growth and performance improvement
- assess and improve their abilities to perform as an effective coach
THE COURSE
The course consists of 3 two-day sessions held over 3 months. The main topics are:
- the coach’s formal and informal role when working with clients and colleagues
- the core process and methods of coaching
- essential coaching competencies
- focusing on client’s role, context and challenges
- helping clients set goals, develop new skills and measure improvements
- supporting and monitoring the process of change
In addition to the 6 days in classroom, each participant receives 6 hours of individual coaching by a SCOA coach.
